About Us

Green Building

Green building is our promise to the future. Environmental responsibility is our legacy to our children and to the generations to come. We are committed to sustainability by offering the use of green building practices and products, whether you want your project completely green or just a few elements, we can provide the best approaches for your lifestyle and budget.

What is green building?
Our homes are a group of systems all working together, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. And our home will only be as healthy as the weakest of these systems. Green building practices conserve our resources; and promote healthy living. A healthy house can improve your home’s indoor air quality, comfort and reduce energy costs.

Where do we begin?
There are many shades of green, Green remodeling can be done in phases and doesn’t necessarily have to encompass the entire home. The following are actions you can take to begin the journey to a healthy, environmentally conscious home.

  • Test your home’s heating system
  • Upgrade furnace, air conditioning, ceiling fans
  • Window replacements and window coverings
  • New insulation
  • Water efficient plumbing fixtures and appliances
  • Energy conserving lighting fixtures
  • “Energy Star” appliances.
  • Plant shade trees
  • Use native plants for landscaping
  • Irrigation systems
  • Use environmentally safe products
  • Use Local building materials
  • Recycle
  • Minimize or eliminate products that could cause harm to the environment
  • Reuse materials
  • Donate and recycle whenever possible

“Green” is a way of living, making a conscious choice to do what’s right for the earth, it is our social responsibility. No matter how small we start, it is a way of thinking and living. We can make a lasting difference on the world around us.
